We stayed at the fabulous Lido Hotel for 2 nights in December 2025. The hotel is located in central Santa Cruz, within a 4 block walk from Plaza 24 de Septiembre, and also a short 10 minute walk from the iconic Cristo Redentor statue. Check in was quick and painless, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large attached full bathroom. The air conditioner did a great job of cooling the room. Breakfast was served each morning in the attached Chinese restaurant, and featured eggs, breakfast meats, fruits, juices, cereal and yogurt, and was a great way to fuel up before venturing out to explore Santa Cruz. Without equivocation, I highly recommend the Lido Hotel to anyone in search of a clean comfortable hotel at an affordable price in the enchanting metrolopolis of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our entire stay. Lido di Camaiore as an area was nice and quiet, if you want more action head to Viareggio. We arrived to the hotel and there was nobody there, had to call 3 different numbers and wait 40mins for someone to arrive even though it states in web that they have the reception open whole day. During our stay we saw someone sitting behind the desk only once and then i was able to comment about the ants in our room and the girl, who was very helpful, came and cleaned the area next to the door where most of the ants were at that moment. After that the ants started wandering in other parts of the room and we tried not to mind about those too much and kept all the food in the fridge and kept our stuff up from the floor but on our last day the situation was really bad and there were hundreds of ants and when our 1year old baby walked on the floor his feet were covered by ants (babies smell sweet and attract ants) and it was disgusting and we just wanted to leave the room quickly before check out. Ofc there wasnt anybody at the front desk and had to call the different numbers again and they sent the cleaning lady to serve us. I showed her the video of the ants in the room and she accused of our dog.. and we even paid 30euros extra for the dog cleaning fee (thats common extra fee) but because she did not speak any english and our italian is bit rusty we did not get any compensation for the room and we just wanted to get away from there asap.

这次入住体验太棒了！房间温馨舒适，干净整洁得像回到家。前台小姐姐笑容亲切，服务热情周到。性价比超高，下次来一定还住这里，强烈推荐！

Staff was not professional they didnt have any information to help us with the surrounding area nor did they even try. The ac unit was loud and barely worked. The only good thing about the hotel was the location.

Close to the city center, with lots of restaurants and museums nearby. Very kind and helpful staff, especially all the receptionists. Clean hotel and good breakfast. It can be a bit noisy with the music going on until late and starting early, even though it is calm music.
