大理住过最好的民宿，老牌民宿所以位置很优越，在文笔村下的环海公路旁边，一步一景。在海东三天，下雨天享受民宿，听听雨泡泡澡；晴天文笔村走走逛逛，享受洱海的波光粼粼；傍晚有时会有歌手来唱歌，惬意松弛；入夜也可以点杯喝的，在一楼吧台坐坐，很温馨。
卫生和服务也很不错，感谢慢屋让我如愿有了一段慢下来的旅程

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, for these reasons: 1). It is 1 hour 30 mins from Dali Old Town where all the fun things to do are 2). The service was really bad (it took about an hour to check-in as they weren’t used to checking in foreigners) and when we were out they said they couldn’t clean our room as they didn’t have a spare key 3). There was a GHEKO living in my room 4). The swimming pool was dirty, a health hazard and unfit to swim in 5). My room was damp and the paint was falling off the walls 6). The breakfast was a Chinese set meal, with no choice and no western options. There was no coffee…only instant sachets.
However, the staff themselves were really lovely and kind but the hotel itself was not up to standard. I think this place has a lot of potential but improvements need to be made.
I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt I needed to this time so that others don’t face the same experience as me and my friend did.

Location is by the roadside on the east side of the lake. It’s convenient but it’s far from downtown (45mins drive) as that is in the west side of the lake.
The staff are helpful and try to help however they can. They don’t speak English but wechat and translator help (manage expectations).
The rooms are clean.
Breakfast is basic Chinese.
There’s a pool for kids (not deep enough) and a lounge area with a view.
If you like a quite place away from the city, then this is a good place to stay.
But if you want convenience, be aware that didi/taxi is scarce, and attractions are far.
There’s a restaurant next door.
